What is Our Goal? -
The goal of this church is to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Through the power and help of the Holy Spirit it is our aim to become more like him day by day.
(I Peter 2:21)
We strive to be a non-denominational, Bible-centered church.
Our conclusions aren't flawless and our practices are sometimes habit, preference, tradition or convenience. However, we do our best to hold the Bible as our only guide in religious matters.
What Happens During Our Worship Services? -
Our worship services and Wednesday night series take place in the auditorium, where you will find rows of "pews" for seating. There are no reserved seats so you can feel free to sit where you choose.
As you are seated, you'll notice a rack in front of you that contains songbooks for your use. The words to the songs will be displayed on a screen in the front of the auditorium, but if you prefer to follow along with the musical notes, turn in the songbook to the song number listed. Our singing is "a cappella," without accompaniment of musical instruments.
You'll also notice reading from the Bible and public prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and often pray for specific needs.
What is Expected of You? - Nothing at all. You are welcome to participate, but please don't feel obligated. Just observe, if that is your choice.
What Kind of People Will You Find Here? -
A pretty wide spectrum. As most groups, we come from diverse backgrounds and find ourselves at different stages of knowledge and spiritual growth. You won't have to look very hard to find our faults. But hopefully you'll also find people who love Jesus, love the Bible, and hope to make a positive difference in this community.
